(Photo by Abdullah Benjakat)PATTANI: Gunmen ambushed and killed an assistant village headman and his father-in-law at their home in Mayo district on Tuesday night. The murder came a day after another assistant village headman was gunned down in Pattani’s Muang district. He was assistant headman of Moo 7. According to police, two men arrived at the restaurant on a motorcycle and they shot Samai to death before fleeing.
